What a Cruel Budget!

Well I knew there would be some kind of dictatorship coming out of this disastrous government in the Republic of Ireland. But what a smartly crafted web they have spun to do the maximum damage and then sit back for five years while the people have to take punishment they have meted out but which will be blamed on a new Government to be elected in January. The FF Green Coalition have done a deal with the IMF and the European Commission and Central Bank for a five year cruelty plan (austerity). Then Fianna Fail will be politically destroyed in the election due within seven weeks. But their plan must be implemented by the new government over the next five years. The type of adjustments in the budget for the first year is a sign of things to come. The first attack was on the blind. I know. I need to repeat that. Brian Lenihan's first item in his budget was to take €8 a week minimum off blind people. Second was disabled children. Will I say that again too? Disabled children. A person on a welfare benefit with a disabled child will lose €8 a week from their benefit and also €10 from child benefit. If they are working and on a minimum wage they will have a reduction of 12% in their income because the minimum wage is being reduced by €1 per hour. And they will for the first time be brought into the tax net. By the way the government also announced a maximum wage in the civil service of €250k a year. How kind. And so that these highly paid, highly skilled layabouts don't leave the country their income tax will not be increased but low paid and middle income people will have tax increases. At the beginning of this year this government sacked 2,000 classroom assistants who cared for disabled  children and kids with learning difficulties in Irish schools. Now many of those kids cannot attend school because they need one to one help with both their learning and such things as toileting, mobility and feeding. There are many, many more ways which Brian Cowan and Brian Lenihan have attacked and abused children, the blind and disabled. The poor. Ireland has had a terrible history of child abuse and state elderly abuse by church and state institutions. Now the government have joined in to abuse them all with deprivation of education, food, heat, clothing. Even the white stick is going to be stolen. Abuse is abuse lads. The level and the different variety doesn't make it any less harmful. Meanwhile the rich have a little more cream poured on their strawberries. I'll keep up dating this budget blog. And if the government is abusing someone in this society I will report it without favour.

One good thing that came from this budget was the reply of Sinn Fein's Pearse Doherty to the Finance Minister's budget speech. Such an eloquent contribution. Such humanity. If I wanted to make a comparison this man reminds me of Michael Collins. If Pearse Doherty were to join Fine Gael or labour he would lead them in one year and be Irish Premier within two years. Watch this space for a new legend in politics. He will be the making of Sinn Fein if people can forget the past. But he will make a mark in Irish politics starting in 2011. You read it here.

Tonight with Vincent Browne: Irish company's and investors at home and abroad have €1.2 trillion in assetts and cash invested in Ireland and abroad. One of the companies is Google whose company is based in Galway for tax reason's (12.5% Corporation Tax). Google made profits of €3.6 billion in 2008 and paid €18 million tax.  Source: The Government of Ireland Central Statistics Office, Dublin. Meanwhile Dermott Ahern TD, Minister for Justice has announced his resignation from politics. He will receive €128k a year as a pension for his job as TD and €150k per year for a pension for his job as a Minister. Before he retires he will join with the rest of his Ministers on 7th December in introducing a budget which will reduce the minimum wage by 12% or €1. He will then bring those on the minimum wage into the tax net for the first time.

The Austerity programme imposed on the poor in Irish society has made headlines all over the world. And what it has resulted in is greater abuse than ever of our refugee population. The conditions in which refugees live in Ireland under the Fianna Fail government is probably the greatest single human rights abuse record in Europe over the last twenty years. The abuse of children by this government is in fact unprecedented in Ireland ever. The first thing the new government elected in January/February 2011 must do is announce a total amnesty for all those held in refugee concentration camps in Ireland. For all children to be released from Mountjoy jail. For Human Rights Legislation to be introduced that would protect ANY child living or visiting Ireland. In other words the child being held in Butlins Concentration Camp in Drogheda would have exactly the same rights as a child born in Cavan Area Hospital to parents from St Martins Estate in Cavan. That's what our missionaries went all over the world to promote. Now we the Irish people must hang our Celtic Tiger heads in shame that we have created our own concentration camps in this country.

Ireland's Budget 2011 continued.

A major mistake I believe Ireland has made in their trading and fiscal policies is to depend too much on the European Union. Ireland has friends in every country in the world and we should  not have to rely so much on Europe. We have huge trade with the United States so why not with China? Why not more trade and international agreements with India, Pakistan, Dubai, Suadia Arabia and Middle East Countries? With regard to China if we could get agreements on trade and travel with China it would mean a massive boost to our economy. Except for Student exchanges we do not even allow Chinese citizens to travel to Ireland and we have a very narrow visa arrangement with that country. One of my proposals to boost the economy was to build a new all Ireland railway system which would make trains available to every city, town and village in this country. To comply with the new green and climate controls this country will have to implement we need to drastically reduce the use of the car. So where are we going to get the money to build such a network? Well we tender for the network in China. But in order for Chinese contractors to come to Ireland we will have to relax our travel restrictions on China. China would be invited to build this railway network and to take the profits from fares collected when it is up and running. In return for China's entry into the Irish economy China would be asked to take 50% of its employees from the Irish population. There would be a considerable saving to the Irish economy as this programme progresses. Less private transport would be needed so there would be less cars on the road. So great savings would be made in the economy by cutting back on road building. The green house gases would be reduced. Motor vehicle tax should be increased substantially over the next 20 years to encourage people off the roads. Grants from Government and the EU and maybe even from the Chinese Government would be made available to build this railway system and other  public transport systems. This plan would provide thousands of jobs, bring us into line with Climate regulations, boost the economy by bringing new people into Ireland. Many other projects could be set up with other countries. The USA is an example of how a country has built a healthy economy by making it easy to emigrate into their country. So why not Ireland?

Justice Proposals

This country spends far too much money on fighting crime. For the same reasons as we don't have an efficient transport and rail system, a useless health system, a corrupt financial system. Ireland needs to implement, no, create a justice system because we don't really have one. Firstly we need to make up  our minds what we want our justice system to do? I studied A level law many years ago and was surprised when my lecturer announced that governments don't necessarily want to defeat crime. Crime, he explained is an industry, a vital part of the British economy. It employs tens if not hundreds of thousands of British people, police officers, prison officers, Court officers, Social Services, medical staff. So do we need crime as part of our legal system to reduce the dole queues or do we aim for ending crime in Ireland. What do we want to do with the criminal? Do we want to rehabilitate criminals in the criminal justice system, make them better people and let them back into society?. Do we want to get revenge against the criminal, lock them up for eternity, punish them? Well I have an opinion on this subject. I don't regard crime, law and order as an essential part of our industrial base to reduce the dole queues. Many criminals if not most of them are beyond rehabilitation, so I rule out too much molly coddling if for no other reason that we can't spend money on better conditions for criminals before we spend money on special needs children, paediatric nurses and primary school eduction. Where a prisoner seeks help to better themselves then that help should be given. My policy would not be to rehabilitate, to take revenge or to punish. I want to separate the criminal from the rest of society. If someone commits a crime and their punishment is ten years in jail then that's what they should serve. If that person commits a crime again and is given a ten year sentence that sentence would be doubled. If criminals knew this was the policy they would stop. Crimes of violence would mean in my policy that the person committing the violent crime would be likely to spend most of their lives in prison. Separated from society. I would also differentiate between victims of crime. And Ireland already do this in that its a life sentence for murder, supposed to be 25 years and for the murder of a police officer its 35 or 45 years. The tariffs on all crime need to be reviewed and amended. For instance a crime of violence against a 25 year old man which draws a 10 year sentence would draw a twenty five year sentence for the same crime against a 6 year old child. Rape of a 25 year old person should draw a life sentence which ends up about 12.5 years. Rape of a child under 16 years would draw a 45 year sentence. Violence against the elderly, infirm or special needs persons would attract a much higher sentence. Three convictions for any crime of violence would result in a 45 year sentence to run consecutively. It would be my intention to end crime, not create an industry out of it.

I will of course be criticised by human rights campaigners who don't believe in human rights for child rape victims, pensioners, medical staff, police officers, fire officers or the 90% of people who are not involved in crime. I will also be criticised because it will cost too much to keep all these criminals locked up. Well I have the answer to that too. On 1st January 2011 there would be a general amnesty for all prisoners held in prisons in the Republic of Ireland. The only exception to this rule would be those convicted of murder, rape and grievous bodily harm or other serious crimes of violence. Violent prisoners who have less than one year of their sentence to serve can apply to be considered for parole and be released under the amnesty if a special group of experts support their application. Any person released under the amnesty who is convicted within ten years of their release of a similar offence or another serious offence would serve their new sentence and any previous sentence handed down in the past ten years. Prisons have to be paid for and I suggest innovative and radical ways of paying for them. Firstly, I believe income tax itself is a counter productive method of paying for any of our services. So either with or separately from income tax there should be a Justice and Prison Levy if for no other reason to make the taxpayer realise that we have a problem that needs to be addressed. The Irish recession has resulted in some 360,000 empty houses on ghost estates being left to rot on the Irish landscape. Mountjoy Prison must be closed down and four or five or as many as required of these estates would get planning permission to become new open prisons. Dangerous prisoners would be transferred to Portlaoise prison and four new prisons would be built over a ten year period. These prisons would be state of the art prisons which would require very little officer supervision. In fact they would be so state of the art that the entire care of prisoners would be carried out by remote control. A new policy of allowing and encouraging prisoners to work, earn money, pay tax etc, separated from society on the outside world but allowed to have their own human rights, their own separate society within the prisons system. All prison systems would be controlled by automated locking systems, CCTV, Audio instructions etc. Three prison officers could control a prison with 1,000 prisoners at night. Prisoners would volunteer to complete the Ghost estates and would be paid a special prison rate for their work. You see there would be many more prisoners in the first two to three years of all this new justice policy change. Then crime would fall off dramatically as repeat offenders would no longer be released. Crime classes for the young prisoner would end because the crime teachers would no longer be on the outside. They would not be released.

The media in Ireland have had pretty much a free ride on crime and criminals. News stories in the tabloids have made billions from crime stories both in the courts and from people locked up in prisons for horrific crimes against Irish and British citizens. Famous and infamous prisoners would be allowed to publish their stories, books etc so long as no offence is given to a victim. A newspaper would be allowed to visit a prison to interview a mass murderer. If the going rate for such a story, say by the News of the World was €2m. Well the prisoner would be paid €10k, the victim(s) would be paid 50% of the €2m and the prison authorities and the Courts and Justice system would take the remainder. The media could and should get back to providing a service to the Irish people. Billions of Revenue could be collected from Newspapers, Television and Radio for opening up the prison and justice systems in this country. I'm positive that there are many, many ways of financing the Irish Justice system. We have become such a stuck in the mud, set in our ways society that rejects change and carry out our affairs at a snails pace. We need an electric shock to our whole governance. I'm available to pull the switch. 

Myra Hindley

I said I would comment on Carol Ann Lees book on Myra Hindley. My opinion has always been that Hindley should have been treated like any other life prisoner. I must admit after reading Carol Ann's book I can understand why there was a reluctance to release her. The wicked torture and murder and the tapes of that act published in this book was traumatic reading. However Hindleys detention after her life sentence was complete was an abuse of the legal system. And if we accept the law as the law then her detention was illegal and unfair. However Hindley was a deceptive and devious woman who lied, lied and lied throughout her life. Coming clean at the beginning after sentence may have meant she would have been released earlier. I accept now that she truly was an evil person and if she changed at all it was only at the very lates stage of her life.

The New Dictatorship: Budget Continued.

Well I proposed a Military takeover of the Republic of Ireland in my last blog. But events have overtaken me and the country. Because the European Union and the International Monetary Fund have already taken over Ireland. Still I'll put my tuppence worth on the table as an alternative budget for 2011.

The proposal from Brian Cowan and Brian Lenihan is to create a four year plan to reduce Ireland's deficit from 14% to 3%. The first year of this plan, 2011, would have €6 billion sucked out of the economy. Now anyone who knows anything about paying off a debt, such as a mortgage, knows you don't volunteer to pay off a 25 year mortgage in twelve years. Because that would lead to bankruptcy. So firstly I would reduce the deficit to 5% in six years. I am absolutely convinced that the Irish government whoever they turn out to be will not be able to achieve 3% by 2014. Secondly, it would appear that the Fianna Fail - Green coalition will attempt to achieve this years targets with €4 billion of cuts from the sick, the poor, the elderly and children. The other €2 billion will come from adjusting taxes on the middle class and reducing the wages, pensions, and numbers in the public services. Now I would do some of those things too. But I would reverse the 4-2 in favour of taxing the billionaires and millionaires by €5 billion and cutting services and social welfare by €1 billion per year for three years and then carry out a review.

So here is a quick list of taxes and cuts that would be in my budget for 2011.

1. Shut down the Irish Senate.
2. Shut down 50% of all County Councils and Urban Councils.
3. Cut the FAS training agency by 50%.
4. Abolish the Health Service Executive completely. Now this time it must be abolished in it's entirety. When the HSE was set up the Health Boards were to close down. What actually happened was the Health boards are still there. My solution would be to create a new Health Service that would be built around One Patient, One Doctor and One Nurse. The present health service has a foundation that rests on 27,000 Administrators. I will give an example. North Eastern Health Board Kells Co Meath. There is no hospital or medical services in Kells Co Meath. But this monolithic Administrative centre employing thousands of people (most would never have any direct involvement in patient care.) So I would close the old health boards down. Start all over again. To do this a team would go round all the hospitals asking doctors, nurses and patients what staff back up they need. Obviously we need radiographers, porters, domestics, ward clerks etc. But all those people work in a hospital setting, taking care of patients. So in fact more people may need to be employed to work with patients and those not working with patients would be made redundant. I propose to reduce Health Service staff by 4000 per year over the next six years. No staff who work directly with patients should lose their jobs. High paid non medical consultants and Civil Servants should be made redundant or have their wages reduced by 50%.

5. This country has too many hospitals. All cottage hospitals should be closed down over the next 25 years. Twelve hospitals would be built over that period in the Republic of Ireland. All of about the size of Belfast's Royal Victoria and City Hospitals put together. They would be strategically placed to cover all of the country. An air ambulance service would be set up and would eventually take all emergency service calls to the twelve hospitals. Ambulance services on the ground would be reduced at a rate of five per cent per year over the first six years. Non urgent patient transport would continue as now and a road transport ambulance service would be on standby for major incidents.

6. All top Civil Servants such as Judges, Higher Civil Servants, advisers etc would have their salaries reduced by 10% in 2011 and 5% per year over the next three years. Government Ministers to have their salaries reduced by 25% in 2011 and 5% per year over the next three years. RTE employees on higher salaries such as broadcasters would take a salary cut of 25% in 2011 and 5% per year over the next three years. Anyone earning over €100k annually would make a one off tax payment in 2011 of 25%. The fiction that we won't be able to attract the best people if we don't pay them millions for their services is false. This country has half a million unemployed, plenty of well educated graduates to take the place of Pat Kenny or the head of the HSE. An example of where I would look for money would be from those who withdrew €10 billion from the AIB in August and September. Tax payers lodged €7 billion through Brian Lenihan into AIB in 2010. The government must take hold of the banks and prevent a run on the banks by declaring a national emergency. Transfers of money out of Ireland must be stopped for three months until the budget is passed and the 4-6 year plan is implemented.

7. A wealth tax which would be based not just on cash but on assetts and property.

8. A property tax on properties worth more than 400k. Those with more than three houses would pay at a higher rate than those with one. Protection for certain categories of people who are living solely on benefits or pensions would mean many would not pay the property tax. Those who have more than €1million in property assetts would be penalised the most. Someone or some company who owns €100m in property would be forced to sell €25m worth for a one off payment to Revenue in 2011-2012.

9. Probably the single most important change needed in the 2011 budget is parliamentary reform. The Dail should have a working body of members working in the parliament five days a week, fifty two weeks of the year. The parliament must be seen to work harder, work quicker and work longer and more efficiently. More emergency legislation to address the problems of this country is vital. If there is a crisis the Irish Parliament must be be prepared to be in the Dail even at 3 a.m on a Sunday. TDs pay should be cut by 40%.

10. All Social Welfare payments should be reduced by 1% per year for the next three years. Exemptions from these reductions would be allowed only for pensioners over 85 years of age and Special Needs children. All public service pay to be reduced by 1% per year for the next three years. Minimum wage to be frozen at this years rate for two years and then reviewed.

11. The Government should set up a State bank which would be run like any other Government Department. All other banks should be nationalised and sold off over the next five years. A levy would be put on all private financial institutions until the €140 billion lost by banks is paid off over the next 25 to 50 years.

12. Many people find it hard to understand why goods and services in N. Ireland are mostly between twice the price of the Republic and fifteen times the price of  the Republic. Many of the problems we face today were created by greed. Even if we go back to the eighties or nineties ordinary goods in the shops were often 15 or twenty times that of the North. There were never such difference of costs such as minimum wage or electricity which are 10% and 15% respectively. To address this problem I propose that a Prices Commission be set up. The head of this Commission should be an ex senior member of the Gardai. The commission should investigate prices in both N. Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. If the government can introduce a sensible pricing policy in Ireland then there is no reason why Social Welfare and Health costs could not be reduced. The very basic goods purchased every day by people to feed their families in the south are costing enormous amounts in comparison to the North. As a small example: Daily Mirror North 45 p; South €1; Fruit scone Co Monaghan 85c; Co Antrim 15p; 16 Panadol County Antrim 15p; County Mayo €1.89; Packet of brand bacon Antrim £1.59; Cavan €5. Litre of Whiskey South €49.50; North £18.99. 2 litre milk South €1.89; North 90p. Excessive profiteering would be investigated by the new Prices Commission. The Commission would have a right to order a company to reduce it's prices in particular where a company is selling a product in N. Ireland manufactured in the Irish Republic for half the price in the North. And this is a common occurrence. It would have an advisory capacity as well to help industry and the retail trade by comparing the price structures in the two areas. Broadcaster Pat Kenny highlighted where a drug for epilepsy cost €4.80 in a small village in Spain. It sells in Ireland for €50. The Commission would have teeth and could impose heavy fines or remove a licence to trade from a company or retail outlet. The Commission would widely publish its findings in order to dissuade business from unfair practices and profiteering.

13. Bond holders would have to be identified by having their licences published in local papers once a year. The Irish people have a right to know who is controlling their economic well being. All millionaires and billionaires would have to be identified annually in National papers in Ireland. Whether individuals or companies. The 7% of the population who control the wealth of Ireland will have their masks removed in my budget.

14. Those involved in fraud over the past thirteen years must be arrested, charged and tried. Legislation should be enacted and if necessary back dated to see that Ireland jail those who caused the crisis Ireland is now in. A method of speeding up the prosecuting process must be implemented as part of the 2011 budget.

15. Shell Gas in Mayo to be Nationalised.

16. Water rates to be brought in over a five year period using water metres. Payment of water rates would be means tested to protect those who could not afford them.

17. Corporation Tax to be increased to 15%, still the lowest in Europe.

18. Finally I have a plan for a massive boost to the Irish economy on both sides of the border by using the border as an economic platform to turn this Island into a multi billion euro investment destination. That problem of differences in cross border prices would be solved. The depression caused on both sides of the border because it is an unequal international frontier would be ended and replaced by a vibrant economy. I propose that the authorities on both sides of the border set up a Free Enterprise Zone along the whole 300 mile stretch of the Irish border. It would be a six mile band, three miles on either side of the border where taxes would be low, perhaps only 5% income tax, 5% Corporation tax, 10% VAT etc. The EU would be asked to help fund and support the project. International companies would be invited to set up industries and develop the infrastructure of the zone bringing huge prosperity to the whole country over the next 25 years. The area could be widened over a period and this would attract people from surrounding areas into the zone. There would be no border restrictions on the old Irish border, no customs and the six mile band would be jointly policed by security services from both sides of the border. The new border would be all of the six mile band. The Prices Commission would strictly control prices inside the Zone and all goods would have to sell at the same price throughout the zone ending the profiteering on the southern side of the zone. This would have the effect of stabilising prices and the economy would be contaminated by the new surge inside the zone throughout the Island over a period of years.

Budget 2011 details

Firstly Ireland has been conned by every political, financial and social institute on earth. It is so obvious but most Irish people don't understand it and are unlikely to understand it. Irish people are generally hard working people. They produce labour, agricultural products, manufacturing goods. People in government, banks, and financial services don't work. They sit and bet like bookies on the ability of working people to produce enough tea, carrots, rice, potatoes. So my budget proposals will ignore or penalise the multi billionnaires, the very rich. But I have the advantage on Brian Cowan and Brian Lenihan. I already know thier plan to get cosied up to the "markets". The stock Markets. Unless Ireland.com radically changes from a western multi capitalist proffiteering entity to a socialist child friendly, pensioner friendly, worker friendly society Ireland will collapse financially.

I have set out my main aims above for the Irish budget which will be announced on 7th December 2010 for the 2011 budget. My introducton was published and now I will give the details:

As this country has been damaged by those who we have elected more than any other group of people in our country then I must start with those we have elected as a way of changing our system of government. This country elects 166 TD's (MP's) for 4 million people. My main proposal before I can reccomend any other reduction in services is that as part of the 2011 budget the numbers of TD's is reduceded from 166 to 111.

The Republic of Ireland, as quoted by a commentator on RTE's Marianne Finucane radio programme (10/10/10), is on the precipice of total economic collapse within a fortnight if a common approach is not agreed between the main political parties in Ireland. I, Toni Manifesto, propose a budget to try to save Ireland from total economic collapse. However I totally disagree that there needs to be consensus between the political parties on the way forward. Such a consensus would merely present a Political Dictatorship. I would prefer and openly propose a Military Takeover by Ireland's Defence Forces. The suspension of the Constitution. The suspension of the Irish Parliament and Senate. The immediate takeover of all banking, financial and Insurance institutions by Government Officials who would at all times have the support of armed personnel. The government has been pleading with the banks to start lending. The pleading would be over. If a government official and army officer enter a bank building and tell bank officials to start lending and this order is disobeyed those bank officials would be put under house arrest. This is an emergency measure that would last for one year.

The reason Ireland is in the predicament it is in is greed, corruption at every level throughout the state. I mean every level throughout the state. Every government department, every bank, every business, every human element including churches, voluntary organisations, security services including police (Gardai). The connection I will make here is the Galway Tent, a Fianna Fail Government corruption pump to encourage the rich to create and keep sustained the thing that brought Ireland to it's knees, The Celtic Tiger. Aligned with this was the Church and its child abuse and systemic cover up. The scandal of Shell Gas in Mayo that was donated free to international oil companies which flies in the face of best practice shown by the Norwegian Government. The Golden Circle in the Anglo Irish Bank of Fianna Fail Government supporters and building developers who brought Anglo and Ireland to it's knees. The FAS corruption in Ireland's Government training Agency. The recent revelations about monies going missing in HSE expenses. And of course Senate and Parliamentary expenses by politicians. Some will be surprised that I mention the Gardai but I recall a scandal some years back about nursing home owners stealing money from their residents and a major investigation was launched. One of those complaints was made by a garda on RTE radio about money being taken from a parent. No-one was ever prosecuted in the nursing home scandals, in the banks or finance companies despite public airing of billions being slushed around from one institute to another to create a false impression that all was OK. These are all crimes I am describing!! Serious criminal offences which every member of the Irish police service know about! But unfortunately the two most serious offences that people go to jail for in the Irish Republic is no TV licence and minor traffic offences. Why don't police officers respond to major criminal offences being committed on a daily basis as described above. Well the Fianna Fail Government set up Anglo Irish Bank, the HSE, FAS, collaborated with the churches, collected the political expenses and appointed every Police Commissioner for the past fifteen years. But if a garda officer doesn't have to be told to stop a car for no tax or a baldy tyre why should a garda officer have to wait for the call to go in to parliament and arrest someone fiddling expenses, or into a bank that has just covered up tens of billions of euros in fraud? I could go on and on and on. But the Government under Brian Cowan and Brian Lenihan and the Green Party will announce Ireland's budget on 7th December 2010 for the year 2011.

I believe this budget announcement will be the single worst attack on the poor and disadvantaged that any western country has seen in the past 70 years. It will continue last years policy of rewarding, supporting and covering up for the rich in Ireland at all costs. Capitalist ideology and past acts of economic terrorism will be protected before the interest of the Irish population.

My budget proposals will come under the usual policies of fiscal rectitude. Huge political reform and cutbacks on the cost of the political system in Ireland. A new health system which would literally pull down the structure of the HSE, the health boards that should have been abolished and the over loaded clerical, administrative, consultative private profiteers and hangers on that have created a mammoth waste of expenditure that is creating misery to the entire population. It would be replaced by a simple health system that is built on one doctor, one nurse and a hospital bed. Obviously everyone will be waiting for the rest of that story. I would introduce a fast track system of legislation, an end to a part time parliament in Dublin, a halving of County Councillors and Urban Councillors. Reform of the Social Welfare System. A special Government Department to set wages and prices with strict control on both. All banks would be controlled by the Government until the €50 billion banking guarantee is repaid in full. A state bank would be set up which would have the interest of the Irish people, not profit, as it's ethos. The 30,000 millionaires reported by Fintan O'Toole of the Irish times would be named and ordered to come into the tax net. Each would be given one year to make a one off payment of €330,000 to the Revenue Commissioners. There would be a wealth tax, a property tax and water rates which would be charged on the basis of what one could afford. Child Benefit would be taxed and abolished for the rich. Critics might say this type of actions against the well off might make them leave the country. That's not a big problem. We have tens of thousands of well educated graduates who can take their place, hundreds of thousands of unemployed who can take their place. As long as the billionaires, millionaires and well off don't try to take their money with them the rest of us don't mind. Medical Consultants and millionaire Lawyers can and will be replaced. Lawyer fees to be reviewed with a view to a minimum 50% reduction. Tribunal fees to be reduced by 80%. Bond Holders, either bank or Government to be named before the Bank Guarantee can be implemented. We don't know if these bond holders are members of the Real IRA or Al Queida. Or Chelsea supporters. The Constitution of Ireland Completely re-written to reflect 2015 values and not 1930 values. A taxation overhaul that would take away the emphasis on "income tax" and be replaced with a levy system. A Health Levy, an Education Levy, a Crime Levy. A new system to provide finance for our prisons which should be paid for by those who commit crime and support crime. I've mentioned a lot of them above. Extensive changes to the Justice System including penalties against Judges who release prisoners on bail or early from prison who then go on to kill, rape or commit serious crimes.

A Civil Service who would take commands from Government Departments and an end to the "Yes Minister" farce. All of the matters and others, I will set out in detail over the next days and weeks and hope to give politicians a fortnight to think about my radical budget. One more proposal I will have would be the most far reaching all Ireland economic plan that could very well create the ultimate economic boost on the Island of Ireland and that could in a matter of five years end the economic mire we are now in. But that's all for another day.

The Irish Budget, Belderrig and Gamu

Hi! Folks. Sorry for my absence during the summer. A little illness but a short break in beautiful Mayo helped with that. I stayed near the centre of that Shell to sea dispute. Belderrig and Belmullet. Friendliest place on earth. Belderrig Bay Hotel and the surrounding areas. Mind the sheep! It's an open pedestrian area for our woolly friends. Before I go on to the Budget I just want to comment on Gamu being ejected from the X Factor. Why is it that every year a potential winning contestant is deprived of the right to go before the public vote? Even though Gamu is not presently in the contest she is still the bookies favourite to win it! The bookies are rarely wrong. That's why they never go broke. But at least all this controversy has highlighted the unjust system of deporting people from the UK and Ireland. Gamu was brought into the UK as a child. Her mum may technically be illegally resident but Gamu is more Scottish than African. It is cruel and inhuman to deport her back to Zimbabwe.

Now to the Irish Budget. This will be a long haul piece so I'll start off a new post. I intend to publish a budget myself and of course it will be in speech form and therefore will contain commentary on subjects surrounding the present economic crisis in Ireland on the international scene.

People have been complaining about England's World Cup performance and their manager's and players wages. Well take a look at RTE's News Headlines tonight at a Judgement on legal fees for two barristers and two solicitors for two days work. The Taxing Master of Dublins High Court said he was disgusted at the fees demanded for a case taken five years ago. The legal team charged €2.2 million for a case which lasted two days in court. Fabio Kappelo may just forget about that England job. Get a law degree in Dublin and you can rip everyone and anyone off!!

Taxing Master Charles Moran reduced the Lawyers fees by 82% from almost €2.2 million to €393 thousand. Mr Moran said he was disgusted and bewildered at the level of the claim from the Lawyers. All Irish Legal fees need to be reduced by 82%.

Dear Mr Clarke,



I refer to your speech at Kings College London today regarding prisons policy. Firstly, I want to congratulate you on your appointment as Justice Minister in the new Government. I am strongly opposed to your party and most of its policies. I regard myself as a socialist and find billionaires, banks and the rich as an obnoxious cancer in our society. However going back many, many years ago you were the only face of Tory-ism I ever found acceptable. You may think I am going to exclaim a tirade of abuse or heap praise on the Conservative change in policy relating to Prisoners and Crime. In fact I am going to better your new policy in favour of reducing the prison population by 60,000 in one fell swoop. Those who favour throwing more criminals in jail will agree with my policy and those who feel prison is a wrong method of criminal justice will also agree with my proposals. But more important, I will be switching the responsibility for re-offending away from the government, away from the prisons, away from the police. Prisoners under my scheme would take responsibility for their own detention. They would be given a choice en masse whether to get the key of the front gate of the prison.



My proposal in response to your claim that prison doesn’t work is to announce a General Amnesty for all prisoners in the United Kingdom.



Now before people go ape I want all the people now incarcerated in prison to be offered an amnesty for their crime/s. Except for those involved in Violent Crime. Violence includes Child Abuse and a lot of crimes that people may have felt were threatening. However the amnesty would be announced on the basis that all prisoners would be allowed to apply. Only people who apply would be given consideration. As an example, if this was open to the Moors Murderers Ian Brady and Myra Hindley in 2000. Brady would refuse to apply and would also not be eligible on the grounds that he is diagnosed as insane. Hindley would be entitled to apply as her actual life sentence was served by 2000. Thousands of people have been locked up in prison for not paying their TV Licence, for debts owed to Banks who have been shown to be involved in serious crime. Yet no prisoner is ever ask to share a cell with a banker! People find themselves in prison for ridiculous things like not paying speeding fines they didn’t know they had because they were abroad when they got the Summons.



Now Mr Clarke, here’s the catch. I’m a socialist but I’m not a sympathiser with criminals or their activities. This Amnesty has to satisfy those on both sides of the argument. So really I agree that we should not have 85,000 people in prison locked up in cells throughout the United Kingdom. You want to save the 3 billion that your supporters might have to pay if they don’t get the right accountant to keep those 85k people out of prison. I want you to reduce that cost so that you can increase the amount of money given to Paediatrics in our hospitals, Hospices, Handicapped etc. So the basics I propose are this: Every prisoner in the United Kingdom would be released on January 1st 2011. Those who would not be released would be those who had not applied, those convicted of murder, rape, child abuse, or any conviction for assault.







So if all those convicted of a violent crime were kept in prison and all those, including the alcoholics, drug addicts, schizophrenics and mentally ill, speed merchants, white collar criminals, debt defaulters, were released we would release 75% of our prisoners. But more important. Those who support banging up offenders in prison will get their day. If a prisoner applies for release under the Amnesty Act 2010 they will be given a Contract to Sign. They will agree that if they are convicted of a crime within 5 years of signing the Amnesty they will return to prison for a period twice that of their original sentence. However no one in the United Kingdom will ever be detained on the grounds of health or poverty.



Mr Clarke, the benefits of this Amnesty are huge. Every aspect of the policy is good for society, good for the poor where most prisoners communities originate, good for the wealthy who support your party. I ask you to give my proposal consideration. Most of the problems however, that created such a monstrosity of prison policy is the Parliamentary, Judicial and legal system in this country. The legislative system must be speeded up. Instant law should be created. Ten years for being found with a knife. Instant legislation. Now in one year this law would not be needed. Because people would stop carrying knives. So revert to the old law and carry on.

Night Off

I'm having a night off the futbal after falling asleep listening to UK Justice Minister Kenneth Clarke giving a speech on how he is going to redistribute the wealth of prisoners and their crimes to his supporters in the stock markets. I think both groups should work together. Ken will empty the prisons and the stocks will rise. Less regulation, like in Ireland and Greece. We should never promote discrimination. So let them all at it! Banged up criminals and the London Stock Exchange. Hope your going to do a course on Fraud Ken. Grants for prisoners at the FTSE!

Myra Hindley: A new book.

I don't intend to become a book critic, but I'm fascinated by a new book on the Moors Murderer Myra Hindley. One of your Own, by Carol Ann Lee, is a new look at the so called most evil woman in Britain. I've already read Brady and Hindley by Fred Harrison, Jonathon Goodman's The Moors Murders, Beyond Belief by Emlyn Williams and Duncan Staffs' The Lost Boy. I'm posting this blog because when I review Carol Ann's book I will have a lot to say about this case that does not, nor might not in our time, match up. I believe that The Moors Murder case is the only case in British History that has a 100 year 'D Notice' imposed that can prevent any publication that any person makes by any British government. The deaths of some legal people around the trial of Hindley and Brady and who all was involved in the murders and possible deals that were done at the time were never properly investigated. So in my review of Lees book I will try to create new questions that have very old facts to be brought to the fore. Considering that Murderers are being released after eight to 14 years today what questions should we ask about Myra Hindley?

Bussing American Negroes, Tebbit on your bike, Apartheid, Hunt Gaffe.

That headline is a bit of a mouthful, deliberately. Norman Tebbit told the unemployed to get on thier bikes, forgetting they couldn't afford a bike! The USA used to take thier negroe citizens to work on the back of the bus. Then negroes stopped the buses. The Afrikkans created Aparthied. Nelson destroyed it with peace. Now Ian Smith (no not Rhodesia), (but)? Duncan reccomends all of these policies put together in the one cooking pot! All the lazy people of Britain who refuse to work will be moved to jobs. Thier houses will be closed down. They will get a new house, a new job. A new future. Until some Tory billionaire decides to do a runner with the profits like last week and yeterday and destroys the job, the house and the life of a man, a woman and four children. Now that couldn't happen, could it?

Well the Culture Secretary Jeremy Hunt is a very well educated man. But he can't remember Hillsborough? How the police were found guilty of the deaths of 96 people? Surely he must have watched television over the past thirty years? Margret Thatcher destroying the coal mines and British industry in a revenge attack? Stealing the milk off 5 year old primary school children? No that would be too far back Mr Hunt. My problem is that if you cant remember Hillsborough, or have never seen the headlines, where have you been? I mean if Ian Duncan Smith declares al blacks, gypsies, and those living under £62.99 per week, as illegal immigrants and threatens to send them to Afghanistan, are you going to have amnesia and ask: Who is Duncan Thatcher? Norman Hunt? Adolf Tebbit? Ian Smith? Obviously you will then forget the good days too. Nelson Mandela. Tony Bair. David Trimble Martin McGuinnes Lord Saville. Eqaulity?

Or perhaps you are still with the Capitalist Dream of every Tory earning Fabio Kapello's wage? The six million dollar man!! Surely Jermey Thorpe you remember the six million Dollar man? All his bones were broken in his body and he was re-made with super bones, super body, super powers! You must remember that Jeremy. It was the best American series ever. Did I say Jeremy Thorpe? Who's he? I watched a litlle two year old sitting in the sun on the footpath the other day. She was trying to pick a liquirice allsort that someone had trampled into the ground to eat it. I was going to try to intervene. But her dad was in the garden. In Jeremy Hunt, David Cameron's day it wouldn't be welcome to help a child. You might be bussed, deported, sent to a good job in another area, or be assaulted by a dad that has lived the real life that Jeremy Hunt seems to have escaped.

Fabio Capello V Paediatric Nurse

My blog of the recent past won't go away you know! Neither will my Paediatric Nurse! Fabio Capello is being paid £6,000,000 per annum to destroy the hopes of a nation, built up from 1966 and not even getting to the stage of foreplay, never mind a climax! My Paediatric Nurse has been offered three different jobs in three different countries. She is possibly one of the most qualified persons in her age group and Educational Achievments being sought presently on the world stage of Paediatrics. But a slight problem has turned up. She has children and needs to pay for child care. Despite her husband and Paediatric Nurse both being regarded as high earners to the average citizen, paying for child care would mean that it's not worth going to work. Does Fabio have to pay for child minders? I know he has six good minders looking after him. Ok that's enough. My point is, and it won't go away! We must re-value the human being! If Fabio is worth £6m then a Paediatric Nurse is worth £50m per year!!! But we must get real! We can't afford to pay a Paediatric Nurse £1m a week although we know she is worth it. She probably saves the life of at least one small infant per month. Small fry compared to Fabio. OK. Fabio should stay in his job. On condition that he gives £5.5 million per year to a children's charity of My Choice. I think I could get the support of millions of male readers to my blog. You remember holding her or him in your arms after he/she was born? Your baby or your grand child? Pure life! Pure unadulterated life! Now its Fabio V Paediatric Nurse. Vote!

Sorry, that was very selfish of me. The bin man doesn't have to do so much in our house now. Dirty nappies have immigrated. Paediatric Nurse is in competition with Waste Disposal Officers. Maybe Fabio could cut the shit and let the Garbage Disposal Officers have a decent wage. His wage would probably pay for the waste disposal of many small villages in England for a year. Just an interesting statistic before I bow out. I strongly support the Saville Inquiry. I support it's conclusions. It might have gone just a little further to expel the hurt of the future. But one item from the Accounts provided in the report. IT provided to the Saville report cost £31 million pounds. In 2009/2010 that would have paid for 1,000 teachers for N. Ireland's schools. I support it's use. I don't think it was neccessary because Edward Heath could have made Cameron's speech. And saved the country so much misery, so much death, so much terror. I've won the Euro Millions!

I often wondered what it would be like to win the Euro Millions. I've found out tonight. My twin grand daughters birthday's was today. They emigrated a few months ago and they were six today. Skype is a wonderful instrument of communication. I sat watching my two grand daughters opening their birthday presents before going to skool. They might as well have been with me in this house. Many thousands of miles away but here in this house. So if anyone wants to know what it's like to win fifty million € have a close encounter with two very happy six year olds on thier sixth birthday. Its $10 better!!

FIFA World Cup 2010

I have already posted comments on the Federation of Institutional Fraud Associates. Mexico, England, France, Rep of Ireland, South Africa!! The World Cup is over! This is 28th June 2010. And the World Cup is over. Ireland should have been there. South Africa should never have met France. The officials in the World Cup are actively involved in the result of the World Cup. FIFA have arranged who the winners are today 27th June 2010. And they will make sure who will get through tomorrow 28th June 2010. So just don't watch! Because if you watch on Monday 28th March 2010 you will support the sponsors and advertisers of the most corrupt and wealthiest sports organisation on earth. If you decide that the result has already been decided by FIFA and boycott the game on TV then you will stop the big industries and wealthy all over the world from profiting on the corrupt results of the World Cup 2010!!! Boycott! Boycott! Ok we all know we are still going to watch. Sure we see cheating every day of our lives and never do anything about it. Ole! Ole! Ole! Cheating! Cheating! Ole! Ole! Ole! Cheating.

The more rolling around, fake injuries, blind referees and linesmen the better. I like the game of rugby. Harder, more honest, more contolled, more disciplined, Gaelic Football and Aussie Rules!! Yes, get rid of soccer for our kids. Don't teach them corruption, dishonesty, cheating, bad spotstmansip, in the name of money. Protect your children in sport. Kill the game of soccer.

Sunday. Bloody Sunday.

Watched Bloody Sunday: A Derry Diary tonight.  My whole perception of Bloody Sunday has changed. Orders!!! Orders!!!! Orders!!! were given that day. Saville heard all those secret and sometimes illegal recordings between members of the British Army. I am shocked. Because people in Derry and people in Ireland believed that the British Army went into the Bogside and Derry City to kill the population. No. Only young men and a few accidental fathers or uncles were killed. No women were targeted. Young men. Soldier F and Soldier 027 killed a large majority of those who died on Bloody Sunday.

The big question now is whether those people identified should be prosecuted. Well there were hundreds of troops in Derry that day. Only seven soldiers belonging to the Paratroop Regiment were directly involved in the unlawful killing of fourteen people and the shooting and injuring of another fifteen people. The Parachute Regiment suffered horrendously as a result of what they did in Derry. Warrenpoint satisfied the IRA. So did a bombing of the Paracuhte Regiment Headquarters in England. Eighteen members of the parachute regiment and others were blown to pieces in Warrenpoint. Thousands of others were killed after Bloody Sunday. But the vast majority of people involved in the coflict in Northern Ireland and killed or injured were never directly involved in any conflict. They were in the wrong place at the wrong time. Should those involved in the killing of innocent people in Derry all those years ago be arrested, charged if evidence exists, brought before a court of law in the United Kigdom and prosecuted for the unlawful killing and serious injury of 29 people? My answer is Yes. My reason is the words I have alreday issued. The Parachute Regiment is a large group of British Soldiers tasked with the protection of the British State. Tasked to represent Britain throughout the world. If five or six soldiers went beserk in Derry all those years ago then those five or six soldiers should have been given up then to Justice. The Secretary of State for Northern Ireland made a statement in response to the Saville report quoting that 250,000 army personell served in N. Ireland over the period of the troubles. Well if bloody Sunday had not happend, how many of those young men would not have lost thier lives?

I was going to try to avoid this. Because I'm a coward. And I don't want to start something else. The week after Bloody Sunday there was a big Rally where 76,000 people attended in Newry. I was one of them. A huge gun battle started at the Oldpark Road, Ardilea Street corner after we got off the bus from Newry. I never told anyone except my family about this. There were five British soldiers shot in front of my eyes at the top of Gracehill Street. A person with some kind of Rocket Launcher was behind the concrete barrells outside the pub on the corner. We got off the bus and crossed the Oldpark Road hoping to go to the Ex-Service Men's Club in the Bone. This massive gun battle started. At the top of the street there was an Alcove in the first house. I ran into it and lay there for at least five hours. I was terrified. I knew some of the loud banging was ordinary gunfire, small arms fire and army type SLR Rifle fire. But there were four or five huge explosions which I was informed were rocket launchers from the pub on the corner opposite to where I was lying. The Irish Press the next day reported that the British Army claimed they killed nine IRA men. The IRA made some claims too. What I seen was someone lying behind 44 gallon barrells outside the pub on the corner of Ardilea Street and the Oldpark Road. I was lying in the alcove. I tried to get into the house. No-one would answer. This house was the first house and as far as I know the only house with an alcove. During the time I lay there, there was the most terrifying explosions. Army Sarecens kept rolling up the main Oldpark Road. There was heavy gunfire without a break for at least four hours. Between that there was five huge explosions which were some kind of rockets

I witnessed personell dismounting from an army sarecen right beside the person who had the rocket launcher. I watched as one soldier was shot. He fell on the ground. His colleagues ran towards him and tried to lift him. Some of them were shot. But they kept going. Then many of them fell. The first one was dragged into the Sarecen. But some were left lying on the road. None of them cried out. I thought at the time they might have been dead but more sarecens came up the Oldpark Road and I didn't see the soldiers being picked up. When I reflect I think the second lot were decoys. They dissappeared. They were trying to identify the rocket launcher.

Some days later it was found that an IRA sniper was in a derilect house at the top of Ardilea Street and did shoot nine members of the British Army. None died. The British Army later used the same tactic by knocking a brick out of an upstairs room of a derlict building in the Ardoyne. They shot a 16 year old who the IRA had given a submachine gun to for training and practice purposes. The 16 year old died in the Mater Hospital 45 minutes later.

The Twins on Marrianne Finucane tonight

I've been following the twins from Cork who have been seperated surgically and are fine and back home. They, thier two big sisters, and parents appeared on Mariannes show tonight. Just want to keep an eye on them. Ive got little twin grand kids who have gone overseas and I miss them terribly. So if ever there is a story about twins I always get in there big time. Night.

Referees are winning the world cup with FIFA

I've watched the Cheating Cup tonight. Henry is gone, the French are gone, thier manager is gone, thier coach is gone. Thier bus is gone. Thier cheat is gone. Remember Henry celebrating when the three officials of FIFA all blinked at the same time? He stopped in his tracks when he handled the ball into the nets. He looked around waiting to be sent off! He could not believe his luck! It wasn't luck. Liam Brady who was one of Ireland's best players in history made statements on RTE that the interviewer was worried may have been defamatory. But Liam already said it. Ireland only has 3.5 million population. FIFA needed the hundreds of millions of TV viewers from France. Well they got them Ha! Ha! Ha! Ireland, Ireland, Ireland!!! Well now I can comment as the World Cup is in progress!! USA referee cheat!! FIFA instruction. Brazil v Ivory Coast. My understanding is that if Brazil were to go out of the world cup due to defeat by the Ivory Coast the billions that would be lost from Brazil and South America would destroy FIFA. That's why there were twelve free kicks to Ivory Coast and seventy six free kicks to Brazil. I'm surprised the referee didn't organise a penalty so he could take one himself!! Italians spend more time rolling around the ground than staying on two feet. I propose that any footballer who rolls over on the ground more than once during a football match should be penalised by staying in that position for fifteen minutes. If he moves he is penalised. A penalty. The other players are allowed to play over the top of him. The 2010 World Cup is a joke. I wanted Ireland, or Northern Ireland or Wales, or England, or Scotland to get there. I think they should all boycott the next world cup. Until the police services of the main countries involved send in thier fraud squads. And until playback CCTV is used by the refereee and lines men. If an Italian, Brazilian, Agrentinian or any nationality fakes injury they must be red carded and banned for at least three games. So we will all be able to get on with the beautiful game. Soccer. Not Cheating.

The fan is definitely working overtime now! Never was there so much -hit. The President is representing the American people. Instead of representing the US Stock Exchanges! You people of America need to look out there. Mr Obama was always going to act in your interest. You're just a suspicious lot. You don't like blacks, poor people, don't provide for your children, don't look after your elderly, discriminate in favour of the rich. You need Obama!! BP just did the biggest shite on earth ever recorded in history on the most beautiful part of America and you criticsise your President! Because he is Black??? Yeah because he is black!!! Enda Kenny, Charlie Haughey, Snakes in Irish politics.

Watching vincentbrowneTV3.ie tonight. Ireland is trying to get out of the worst recession since 1930 and the leader of the opposition is facing a vote of no confidence. The greed for power has not diminished in this sick country where thousands of children have suffered child abuse. Tens of thousands are now in poverty. Half a million people are unemployed. Sixty thousand people left Ireland in the second half of 2009. A report within the last week predicted that 100,000 will leave Ireland in 2010 and at least 100,000 will leave Ireland in 2011. There will be a vote of cofidence in the Irish Parliament on the Prime Minister of Ireland within 24 hours and a vote of confidence in the leader of the opposition within 48 hours. Saint Patrick promised that all the snakes were banished from Ireland. Not true. Richard Bruton is still here and laughing out loud at sticking a knife in his leaders back. I do not like Enda Kenny, I do not like Richard Bruton, I do not like Fine Gael. I do not like Fianna Fail. I do not trust the Irish Labour Party. Watching Vincent Browne and Pat Kenny's Frontline tonight I know what is important to the media in Ireland. The status que. The media will be wiped out of the stakes in a new Ireland.They will be less important than a paediatric nurse. We will have journalists who will actually have to go out and work for a living. Find a story. A real story, not something they have tripped over in the street!! I am so disappointed in the media in Ireland. Our newspapers still only want to look up girls skirts. Still anti female. Still petty crime. (Not anti crime). Richard Bruton needs to be thrashed by the Fine Gael party. He is a political oppurtunist. Trying to take advantage of a personality difference. He is seen as the hard man in Fine Gael. The Irish media have created an image of Enda Kenny as the soft touch. The Bruton brothers think they can take advantage of this. Well I'm doing a prediction on the result right now at 1.10am on Tuesday 15/06/2010. Richard Bruton will win the leadership battle with Enda Kenny. Enda Kenny will take eight TD's with him out of Fine Gael and form a new party. Fine Gael will be destroyed and sent into space for fifty years. Thank God! They only thought about Fine Gael. They were never passionate about abused children, the unemployed, human beings. Hope my crystal ball is right.

Hold on there. British Pensioners are complaining about President Obama destroying their pensions because he is talking down BP share prospects? In 2003 a major report stated that Earth would run out of oil within twenty years. I repeat: No oil in about thirteen years. NO OIL. Why would a Finance company, or insurance company or investment advisor suggest to anyone to invest in oil as a pension commodity. If I was 18 year old and had two ounces of intelligence (grey matter) between my two ears I would know if I was buying a pension to provide for my family on my death in 2060 I would not invest in oil. There will not be oil in 2060. There will be no oil on planet earth by 2025. Why did the BP disaster happen? BP were looking for oil five miles under the sea. There's probably more on the moon. Don't blame Obama. Blame greed. Greed. A pension is for your protection when your old and feeble. Not for your financial advisor to get old and rich.

Irish Opinion Poll Shock

The Irish Labour Party has for the first time in the history of the Irish State become the most popular political party in Ireland, according to an Irish Times opinion Poll. Ireland has three main choices of political parties. Fianna Fail, Fine Gael and Labour. Closely followed by Sinn Fein, the Green Party and Socialists and others. Fianna Fail is a populist party who try to please but basically are supported by the multi rich in Ireland but more often outside Ireland. Bond holders would be the biggest supporters of Fianna Fail. Fine Gael are the Consertive party of Ireland, if we compare Mr Cameron's party in England. Labour is a centre party like Tony Blair's labour. None of the major political parties in Ireland would support a re-distribution of wealth in the ROI. Such as reducing the wealth of the top 7% of the population and increasing the conditions of the bottom 30% of the population. So if Labour really do have an influence in Government in Ireland shortly, people on poverty income will not notice it. The billionaire bond holders, the Owners of Ireland will tell Labour what they can do. And Labour will do it. To stay in power. Wednesday's documentary on Ireland's TV3 with Vincent Browne was probably the fifth time that the ruling classes in Ireland were publicly accused of major crimes in the Irish Republic. Those responsible were named. Criminality. Vincent Browne as a Barrister continues to repeat those words. But the police service in the Republic of Ireland over the last fifteen years have been appointed by Fianna Fail. Until the people of Ireland destroy Fianna Fail at the ballot box, in other words by the sheer force of democracy, Ireland will always be governed by the rich, the criminal, the corrupt. Anyhow, as Vincent would say get on to something sensible..... futbal!

Gaza v Israel

I worked in the Belfast Telegraph 1966 - 1968 as a copy boy. The build up of Arab nations against Israel led by Egypt, as a 16 year old, I thought was horrendous. I thought that surely Jordan, Syria, Egypt and their supporters would wipe Israel out. In fact I can remember in population terms I think there were three hundred million Arabs against one and a half million Jews. Not sure of the maths but someone will correct me. Just in terms of the odds then I felt a great pity of Israel.

Now I see Gaza and the West Bank. In the sixties it was a country fighting for it's survival. Today it is Israel doing what Adolf Hitler did to the jews in the thirties and forties. Israel are looking in the wrong mirror. The Israelie people must start looking in the right mirror. The threat to Israel does not come from Palestine. It comes from the world's population. Israel is open to attack because of it's Hitler like oppression of Gaza. In the past it could rely on world sympathy. Human beings can't support any kind of Nazi activity. Whether it comes from Jerusalem, Berlin or Tel Aviv. Release the One and a half million prisoners in your Gaza concentration camp Israel. You may actually lose a lot of Israeli lives doing that. But if you do not you will have to fight the rest of the world. And nuclear weapons will be useless in that situation.

British Petroleum

President Obama isn't interested in the "special relationship" with the UK. He never was going to be. Reagan, Bush, Bush II, Thatcher, Blair. Then came along Browne and Obama. Two human beings. Obama seems to reflect the humanity of ordinary Americans. He will never feel comfortable with the trillionaires, billionaires, or multi millionaires. Hence the BP oil spill reaction. BP's aim is to pay out their rich shareholders between $2 billion and $7 billion next week. Obama is just right to make sure that every fisherman, every tourism operator and every fish and sea bird are compensated. So lets say before a single cent/penny of profit is made by BP they set aside £15 billion in Obama's saving account. Profit v Humanity. 0-1

World Cup 2010

The Republic of Ireland did very well to hold Uraguay to a 0-0 draw tonight. You will wonder what planet I'm on as it is suspected that the Republic of Ireland are not paricipating in the world cup in South Africa. France qualified to get to South Africa by cheating through Thierry Henry. Three FIFA Officials supported the Henry cheat. FIFA Officials. I hope France (Republic of Ireland) win the world cup. Because then the governing body in Dublin can take thier legal advisors to Paris and claim thier Cup back from the cheating France and FIFA! Ole! Ole! Ole!!! The chances of France winning the world cup or even getting through the first round are minimal. Ireland would have spiced the thing up. They wouln't have won it either. But they would have been more exciting than snails and frogs. Apologies if that sounds a bit Irish! I did a bet on an African draw and a French win. I have three more predictions: South Korea and Argentina to win and England to draw with USA. I've one up and one down in a Canadian. Better than 10 billion on the stock markets, say BP? Ha Ha!

Guns and dogs and kids. Cumbria or Liverpool

I know it's less than 24 hours since the Cumbria killings. I apologise for the comparison. But I seen on TV tonight that Cumbria has 22,000 licenced guns!!!! World war 3 hasn't even been worked out yet!! Look who's in charge!! Really, I apologise to all those killed and injured in Cumbria. But why do you need 22,000 shotguns? How many dangerous dogs have you got? How many vulnerable children have you got? Can you keep them dogs under control? Like dead? Cumbria Shooting Disaster

I want to be sensitive to the entire community of Cumbria as I write this blog. We in Northern Ireland have had so many unexpected terrors in our communities that we of all the people of the British Isles understand the shock and horror of this happening to you. Britain: Dog Lovers, but what about our children?

5 year old Tanisha Hall is a prime example of how much British Citizens care for their children less than their dogs. Tanisha's step dad kept a wild animal called Charlie in the same home as his grand daughter. Charlie is an American Bulldog that is capable of breaking a 3 inch tree branch in two with one whip of his neck. Keeping an American Bulldog in the same street as children is like keeping four Lions in that street. Lions are big scary animals. But in comparison to one of the most dangerous dogs on earth the Lion is just a big pussy cat. Or was that a tiger?

Charlie virtually tore the face off 5 year old Tanisha and seriously injured his owner. Prime Minister's Question Time? Ahem. Children. No go on to the next question please.

Next Question: John Paul Massey. A four year old. Mauled to death by a pit bull last year. His Grand mum was in control of the dog. His Uncle Peter was jailed for four months for his part in the killing. There are hundreds of people in British prisons because they couldn't make it to the loo, didn't have a TV Licence, were caught 5mph over the speed limit, had half a centimetre less than the required tread on their tyre. Were jailed longer than the killer of little John Paul. Children like John Paul are the very last thing that matters on this earth to the Governmental or Judicial system on this planet.No Politician. No Judge. No industrialist would ever be seen in the same street as Tanisha or John Paul.

We need to ban dangerous dogs. Full Stop. Why does our 630 MP's not want to stop children being mauled by death dogs? Because until they are attacked they will not understand. The chances of a member of Parliament being bitten by a dog are this: 630 MP's to 62 million British people. Members of Parliament never walk down your street. Fact. Try it out. Only every 5 years. 8 million streets. 10 million dogs. 620 MPs. I'm making a mockery of this. Not of the three children that will be killed by a dog by 31st December 2010. No, the fact that any member of parliament can pick up his wage, or take his credit card into a slap up meal in his local constituency and not be aware that hundreds of children are threatened by dangerous dogs. Knife crime needed a 24 hour emergency parliament. A 24 hour short term legislation. No. Parliament in the UK will deal with the crime against a child in 2003 by 2014.

Facebook Child Abuse

Toni Manifesto was told by Facebook that his Password was invalid five weeks ago. Toni Manifesto's best friend was told that her password was invalid. The password that we/us use has been used for eleven years. Facebook want us, and have ask us to provide a new one. Why do you think we picked the one we did? Because we F-----g knew nobody, CIA, KGB, FBI, MI5, ABC or anyone else would not know it!!!!!! The whole idea!!!! Why in ---- sorry,  I'm not going to swear.

I listened to an RTE programme last week and I'm so sorry I can't rememeber but it might have been Joe Duffy. A mum of a thirteen year old girl came on the show to describe how her 13 year old daughter's photograph appeared on Facebook. Her daughter's identidy had been stolen. Horriffic and slanderous things had been said about this girl and her family. Several complaints and a complaint to the Gardai (Irish Police Service) were made. Nothing can be done about this. The Irish Police cannot do anything. The website is based in America. There is no national or international protection against Facebook invading your Family Privacy. If Facebook ask you to provide a new password they want to go deeply into your life. Your Mum's life, your dad's life. Your sister's life, your brother's life.Your friends life. But really seriously. Your childrens life!! Facebook refuses to provide a PANIC BUTTON for kids who may be targets for Paedophiles. Toni Manifesto thinks if you don't make the best effort to stop paedophiles then you are encouraging paedophiles. Facebook encourages Paedophilia. FACEBOOK ENCOURAGES PAEDOPHILIA.

If Facebook tells you that you have given the wrong password then you are a target from Facebook. You most likely have provided a large nubmer of children's identities or photographs. To protect your children, grndchildren or great grand children DELETE FACEBOOK off your computer. You will be able to find a Family Friendly Site somewhere.

Price Check

I'm doing this Price Check because I know there are many gangsters making one thousand per cent profit on many commodities produced outside the UK and Ireland. But also produced inside the Republic of Irealnd. The Pat Kenny Show failed the people of Ireland when Pat did an investigation about a handicapped child accompanied by her parents on holiday to Spain. This family explained how thier little daughter needed urgent medicine which they had left behind in Ireland. They went to the local Chemist and the chemist said he could deliver that medicine the next morning. They appeared next morning with €200 cash. The chemist ask for €4.37 per bottle. Pat Kenny made inquires and was told that the factory making the same medicine in Ireland produced the same product at €25 per bottle. That was the price coming out of the factory. Sick. Sick Sick. Vomit. Pat Kenny said publicly that day when he asked the question that that was the  price in Ireland. I'm going to do a price check that will shock the world!

Chill out, everybody says. It's only Eurovision.

Yeah I agree. I've been too intense about this new media outlet. So I'm going to go on to less important things. Such as the Eurovision. How many country's in the Eurovision publicly stated that they were going to vote for thier "Friends" in Germany, Serbia, Herzogovenia something, Norway, Greece voting for Cyprus? The final song was "NICE". But would you allow the people who voted the winner of the Euro Vision final to vote on the best paediatrician to operate on your child if he/she was rushed into hospital? No. So Honesty goes out the window and so does talent, competence, music, ability. Humanity. The result of the Eurovision Song Contest was the power that Germany had in the international money markets. As a socialist I'm pleased at that. Because the international money markets forced Germany to call a halt. Why? Because the German working people are the hardest working people on earth. They want to work. They don't want some prick like me sitting at home on their computer deciding thier future!!! Yes. Some prick like me. If I got too smart I could buy and sell Germany. I could cause an accident off the coast of the USA and spill five billion litres of oil in the sea. Then what would happen? Yes. It is happening. Now back to the Eurovision. The best song was the song by Niaobh Kavanagh. There is a rumour that Ireland will discover two massive oil wells and five massive gas wells within the next 12 months. And they are gauranteed to get all the oil votes of the next Eurovision  Oil Contest ("Sorry Song Contest")

The Banking Solution

The vast amount of money involved in banking transactions in Ireland and on the international exchanges accross the world has meant that we, the Irish people must reward our bankers lucratively. Basically millions and tens of millions of euros. Time to question the banks? Right. Department of Social Welfare, Dublin. Per Capita the largest single institution in Europe handling financial transactions on a weekly basis. Almost half a million people weekly are paid unemployment benifit since the recession in 2006. All residents in Ireland are entitled to some kind of Social Welfare benifit. Pensions, Child Benifit, Supplementary Benifit and on and on and on. The only financial institution in Ireland not affected by the recession: Credit Union. A not for Profit institution.

I, Toni Manifesto propose that all financial institutions in the Republic of Ireland should be Nationalised. But not in that Venezuala or Cuba type takeover. Actually maybe more extreme in one way and more sensible in some peoples opinion. The argument by the banks that they handle such vast amounts of money in hugely complex international transactions means that they must compete with the international markets and must pay thier executives and managers international rates that we Irish people cannot afford. Irish Banks are lazy banks. We do need rid of them. I have a solution. The Department of Social Welfare, the largest institution in Ireland expending cash to the Irish population must come together with the most successful group of financial ionstitutions, the Credit Unions of Ireland. Anglo Irish Bank, Allied Irish Bank, and Bank of Ireland as well as Permanent TSB and all ancillary financial groups must be taken over as Government Agencies. If there can be financial wizards within the banking system because of the vast financial transactions then there are financial controllers in the Department of Finance, Department of Social Welfare etc who can match those wizards. If not, get them.

The final solution to all those greed created problems that has collapsed the Irish economy is this: A group of Finance experts made up of Social Welfare financial Experts would join together with a committee of Credit Union Accountants to take control of all financial institutions in Ireland. The Credit Union would play the major part in the banking part. The Department of Social Welfare would regulate the new institutions. All buildings and land assetts belonging to banks would be sold to pay off the countrys deficit. All banking facilities would be transferred to social welfare offices and Credit union offices. The word bank would look for a new name. Like Human.

What Value a Paediatric Nurse?

I'm taking into consideration criticsicsm of my blog. I'm an ultra socialist, an extremist, anti entrepreneur, wimp, not in the real world. So I thought I would show that I have solutions to the problems I have highlighted in this blog. I'll start with values. How much is a bin man worth? How much is a Paediatric Nurse worth? How much is a Broadcaster worth? How much is a domestic attendant (cleaner) worth. What about a teacher? What about an assembly line worker? Builder. Architect. Shop assistant. Clerical officer. Child minder. Solicitor. Barrister. Footballer. Manager. Referee. Social worker. What about a wheelchair user? (employed)



I haven't put a banker or a developer in there. Didn't want to contaminate them. The rest of them I mean. OK. That was an extreme remark. I was listening to a debate on the radio a few weeks ago about the recession and who should take responsibility for it. Who should pay for it. And what will be the future result for the country? I would not be interested in the result for the country as the country will be run by the "Markets" and that doesn't mean the fish market in Belfast. That means the stock exchanges. Run by futures, derivatives and fake computer transactions to keep the multi billionaires multi billionaires.



But the purpose of today's blog is to examine the value of all of the above. If I pick the broadcaster it is highly likely that my blog will be destroyed by a virus. That protected species is in charge. Even the government who should be running the country jumps to his/her tune! If I pick the dealer (sorry I didn't get into drugs yet) on the London Stock exchange I'm in trouble again. I might affect the stock prices if I get too many hits on my site! So I'll do what everybody does. I'll pick on the hospital nurse. I am going to apologise to the rest of you nurses and all the angels and saints who look after the sick, handicapped and disabled in our health service. I really don't think any of you would mind if I highlight the Paediatric Nurse. You see the programme I was listening to was explaining about the banking system. Defending the huge salaries, pensions and bonuses of banking executives. The argument was that the cuts to €500,000 to executives of Bank of Ireland, Allied Irish Bank and Anglo Irish Bank was justified. To support this some idiot confirmed that a senior executive of an Australian Bank had a salary of AU$6 million per year. It came out in the debate that that type of income was necessary because of the complexity of running a bank in modern times. All these figures are really, really complicated, complex.



Yes. That must be true. You know the way we do schemes in the British Isles to get people back into employment? Educational schemes. And you know the way there are lots of really, really really well educated students coming out of university with no job prospects? And you know how the industrial scene is so short of bank managers that can earn between half a million euro/dollars and six million dollars a year? Can I publicly address this request to the two Prime Minister's of Ireland, Brian Cowan and Britain's David Cameron? How about a training employment scheme for ten thousand people on how to become a Bank Executive? We could then discover all the secrets of how to defraud a country (sorry run a bank). We could also flood the market with all these really intelligent bankers (I was tempted to use the W word!) Yes we are expected to swallow the excuse that the reason why bankers need to be paid six million dollar wages, six million dollar bonuses and six million dollar pensions is that running a bank is so absolutely complex. So mind bogglingly difficult! Why did I pick a 24 year old Paediatric Nurse to defeat the sick and obnoxious idea that bankers are something special in our society. Bankers were the foundation of capitalistic dogma. When the banks were floated on the stock markets and went out of the Co-Operative and Credit Union type of financial system it was obvious that greed would take over. Shares in a bank! The joy of a venture capitalist. Now I will continue with the real complexities of life. I do so in sincerely hoping that the entire banking system will be banned in the UK and Ireland. That those involved in criminality within the financial services industry will take the places of those who were jailed for being unable to pay their TV licences, pay their mortgages or buy food for their families.



The Complexities of a Paediatric Nurse as opposed to the Complexities of an Executive Banker: 6.15 am. Get up and wake kids. Kids don't need to get up till 8am but nurse needs to be in at 8am. Get kids ready for school. Drop them off at baby sitter 7am. Go to work 8am to 8pm. Arrive 30 minutes early to exchange reports with night staff. To make sure the priority of those babies in danger of death within 24 hours are highlighted. Complex duties of a banker: Making sure the rich stay rich. Complex duties of a Paediatric Nurse: Eight children in ward as I arrive. Three new born's. Two critical, born early. Intubated one for surgery as soon as Paediatrician gets time. Parents to meet. Distracted. I can understand. Baby in fit. Emergency. Cardiac arrest. Eight of us go. Got her fixed. She's still alive. Going to theatre with baby A. Heart tubes wrong way round. This is really complicated. Trying to find his veins. I only qualified two weeks ago. This tiny little thing. I'm scared I will hurt him. The top Paediatrician is waiting on these bloods for theatre. I cant find the vein. Got it! Quick! Get him prepared. Go to theatre! First time I've watched an op. That man is a genius! Such a tiny, tiny little heart. To see Mr --------- working on a baby born eight weeks premature.

Bank of Ireland Clones County Monaghan Republic of Ireland. Wednesday morning. Notice says training. Opened at 10.30 am instead of 10 am. Closed at 12.30 pm. For lunch. Opened at 1.30pm again. Closed at 4.pm again. What if there was an emergency? Sorry. Snap out of it. 10.30 to 12.30 two hours. 1.30 to 4pm. Two and a half hours. I was in a hurry. Only 4 and a half hours opened? $6million? €127 million from Anglo Irish. €1.25 million bonus? Complex? Is it more complex finding the vein of a new born baby being prepared for heart surgery than it is for a major banker transferring ten billion Euros from one billionaires account to another billionaires account? Wake up world. It's important to have financial freedom. Capitalism is OK. So is socialism. Why does it have to compete and all be so unfair. Political dogma is creating billionaires and Cuban falsities.

Define Child Care: Dublin Style.

Headlines in the Media in Dublin are competing with the Markets, ("Gambling Casinos") and the HSE (Ireland's Health Authority). The media are competing. Not for the truth. But the scandal is good. A child called Daniel McAnespie was kidnapped, stabbed to death and buried in County Meath. When he was thirteen years old he had his throat cut. Over his short life he was attacked up to 80 times according to reports. This child has never (repeat never) been part of a family life e.g. Mammy, Daddy, sisters & brothers. But luckily he was placed in confidence by his family/local authority in the care of the HSE. Today the HSE refused to hand over information relating to 200 deaths of children who died under thier care to the Government of Ireland. The Government of Ireland announced that they would have to go through the long drawn out procedure of enacting new legislation to retrieve these secret documents! You ever hear the words " Your'e sacked"?!!! Dismantle the HSE within the next 48 hours. Take the information. The Irish Government have a police service. If they have been in charge while 200 children died in the care of the HSE then they must account for those two hundred deaths. Mary Harney rings a bell. Mary Harney must be able to get a scintilla of information!! My personal reccomendation is hand it over to the Gardai. Well no. Sure they still can't find Donegal. €127m from Anglo. This is the problem that covering up a crime creates. You end up with another crime. Or two hundred crimes. Gardai or police services should never have to be asked to investigate a crime by a government. Unless that government is part of the crime. Why did the Irish Government ask Ireland's police service to investigate the September 2007 collapse? Well obviously they knew there was someting suspicious. But why did the government know there was something suspicious? Surely a crafty police man would have got there first??? Then who appoints crafty police officers in Irealnd? Fianna Fail over the last thirteen years. Go on then Brian. Sack the HSE. Or start the legislation. Vomit comes to mind.

I didn't Vote for "The Markets"

Todays headlines give away how little democracy there is in this world. Stocks plunge because of Euro Zone worries. The Euro Zone was created by sixteen elected governments. Its about time those governments reined in the stock exchanges and the banks. If the stock exchanges or thier dealers are not happy with thier billions of profits put your selves up for election. Otherwise wind up or shut up.

A Constitution

Now I am actually using this thing as a daily diary. During our lives we confront things such as constitutions, deadlines, lines we should not cross. Standards for our siblings, our children. Our Grand children. We watch television programmes and some government representative or financial wizard says things like "the banks must get back to profit again". I think when I hear this that the master criminals of all master criminals will just escape justice and take the loot out the back door of the bank. Not like years ago when the robbers came in bravely through the front door. Ask for the money. Which was delivered in paper.

Now bank robbery is by computer. And by government. 95% of all major crime on earth is carried out by computer. The other 5% such as driving 8 miles an hour over the speed limit or having a bald tyre which could be disputed by a forensic expert if you could afford one. If you are caught speeding at the Armagh to Monaghan Road don't dispute it. You can't win. There's a funny thing about the hill. I watched my own video of being allegedly speeding. I still don't believe I was speeding. I paid the fine. I'm just another one of those people who just does not believe in the legal system. Because it strongly supports the criminal!!!.

Down to real important things. If I had a constitution this would be it: A little baby boy/girl has just been born in a hospital in Northern Ireland. Baby has been without oxygen for 6 minutes and needs huge intervention to save his/her life. Multi billionaire is making a speech at the London Stock exchange. He says "We need to cut back on public spending, public services. The market place must dictate how much we can spend on the hospitals, on psychiatric services, on the old, on children. Obviously I need to write a constitution that can address the greed of that person who sees only the personal need of him/her or their family to become millionaires, billionaires, or more popularly now, trillionaires.

So I want to protect the little new born baby. In Sudan, Somalia, Ballymena, Bristol, Ontario, or Adelaide Children's Hospital in Australia. My constitutional imperative is little children. The Child is the Constitution. That makes it difficult for Entrepreneurs. People for profit might have to look at their conscience.

I've started getting this out to the world. As a Dad and a Grandad of 16 lil ones (and some not so lil ones) I have to direct the audience of this blog to the core of my beliefs. I had a disagreement with my brother last night about the society we live in. My brother believes that "the markets" should dictate how we all live in this country (UK & Ireland). In other words if rich people make lots and lots & lots of money then they will be able to employ lots and lots of people (and servants). Then the rich people will stay rich and lots and lots and lots of people will live on £6.30 an hour. It's a very good idea. If your rich. Nite.
